About the Friends
The Friends of the Royersford Free Public Library is a 501(c)(3)
non-for-profit organization.
Mission Statement
The Friends supports the Royersford Free Public Library, a Branch of the Montgomery County - Norristown Public
Library, services and programs, promotes literacy through outreach programs that encourage and enhance reading throughout
the community and conducts fundraising activities to assist with library and outreach projects.
Activities
The Friends operate a Used Book Room. Proceeds from this Used
Book Room plus membership contributions, corporate support, and other fundraising events allow the Friends
to provide:
- Funding for equipment and
- Funding
for various Reading Programs
